Overall Responsibility : Develop and administer our Quality Assurance Programs from raw materials purchase, through production, to finished goods. Provide the leadership necessary to advance the company’s commitment to our customers, quality standards, and quality integrity.
Reports to : The Technical Division Manager
Qualifications : Bachelors degree in Food Science, Biology or related field. 5-7 years of Quality Assurance, Quality Control of Food Safety experience in food Manufacturing.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assure safe, wholesome meat products for customers using relevant methodology and Total Quality Management (TQM) principles.
- Maintain complete, accurate records for verifying Compliance Programs and Pest Control Programs.
- Coordinate the duties of Quality Control inspectors with emphasis upon continuous improvement of the company’s meat products and processes.
- Use Total Quality Management (TQM) principles in all day-to-day management practices expressing creativity and employee development.
- Keep aware of current food industry trends and the changing needs of internal and external customers.
- Embrace a forward-thinking attitude toward sanitation, microbiological control and food safety.
- Provide guidance to plant Research and Development Technologist (R&D) on plant specific projects.
- Provide necessary documentation to assure that established standards of quality are met.
- Train employees and schedule their work to maximize added value to the product.
- Prepare plant measures and reports indicating results of the bacteriological and analytical tests performed.
- Investigate quality complaints then document and recommend corrective measures.
- Authorize vacations and/or leaves of absence of department personnel, conduct annual performance reviews and develop budgets as required.
- Provide necessary technical resources to all departments as needed.

Overall Responsibility : Responsible for security of all staff, customers, visitors and for the safekeeping of company’s inventory (parts, raw material, finished products) other assets (motor vehicles) and facilities.

Qualifications : Three (3) years experience in a similar capacity.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Respond to security situations and alarm calls
- Assess the problems and bringing about a resolution
- Mann the visitor’s desk to prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas
- Answer routine inquiries, log entries, and direct visitor’s to appropriate areas
- Escort personnel from buildings after normal business hours and performing security checks
- Ability to write clear, concise, and accurate reports that include daily logs and reports of incidents that occur.
- May be assigned to any location and shift (day, swings, and graveyard) on a regular basis that includes nights, weekends, and holidays. Work involves the typical hazards associated with security work.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Has overall responsibility for managing operations on the farm and the company’s warehousing needs (inventory management, security, preventing spoilage, etc)
Overseeing the development of poultry through various growth cycles; responsible for feeding, nutrition, healthcare, temperature regulation, etc
Responsible for managing and carrying out the building preventative maintenance
Conduct routine inspections to ensure all building security and life safety systems operate properly correcting noted deficiencies

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Supervises the work of food preparation staff.
Plans menus for staff.
Conducts regular physical inventories of food supplies, and assesses projected needs; orders all food and supplies
Ensures that high standards of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained throughout the kitchen areas at all times.
Establishes controls to minimize food and supply waste and theft.
Safeguards all food preparation employees by implementing training to increase their knowledge about safety, sanitation, and accident prevention principles.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork, such as daily dispatch sheets, petty cash items, etc.
Delivery and pickup of items, documentation ensuring accurate capture of what the item/documentation is, who requested the transport of the item, who received the item, and obtaining proper signatures.
Keep assigned vehicles free from damage, in acceptable condition, and consistently clean in a manner. Employee must ensure that the vehicle is in proper and safe condition prior to use, and accept responsibility to report any damage or mechanical malfunctions that exist.
Manage various products and merchandise responsibly while in the act of loading, unloading, or transporting items, ensuring that cargo is properly secured to avoid damage.
Employee must accept responsibility for proper use and maintenance of keys, pagers, and radios, meaning that pagers and radios must be worn for the duration of assigned shifts, and keys must be properly checked in and out.
Work extra/overtime hours as needed according to departmental workload.
Maintain an excellent driving record, meaning that a valid Jamaican license must be presented at the time of employment, and no more than two violations can exist on an employee’s driving record at any given time.

Plant Technician
Overall Responsibility : All packaging equipment operations and applications to proactively maintain equipment and facility in a condition that allows production to sustain efficient operations. Overseeing operations and maintenance of the company’s motor vehicles.
Reports to : The Engineering and Maintenance Manager
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Assisting in carrying out the daily functions of the Engineering and Maintenance Manager;
- maintenance of plant equipment
- Responsible for establishing and monitoring quality repair standards from internal and contract maintenance personnel
- Performs equipment preventive maintenance services using appropriate check list
- Inspects, analyzes and diagnoses all machine and assembly component problems and defects, using diagnostic equipment as required

Sanitation Officer
Overall Responsibility : This position assists with ensuring total cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety of all processing equipment and support areas as dictated by the guidelines of Regulatory Agencies and company policies
Reports to : Sanitation Manager
Qualifications : Minimum Qualifications: 2-3 years experience in a Sanitation management role within food manufacturing facility.

- Inspect facilities for cleanliness
- cleaning and sanitizing the entire facility
- Identify and report conditions or practices that may compromise food safety or overall sanitation effectiveness
