Training and Product Development Manager:
Duties:
- Assist with the Development implementation of the companies overall strategy
- Participate on a yearly basis in the companies planning and budgeting exercise
- Develop implement and review relevant training programmes for the Tour Guiding services offered by the company
- Recruit train and develop and supervise Tour guides to meet the standards of professionalism and excellency set by the company
- Assist the development, implementation and monitoring of the Company's Tour Guiding standards
- Formally appraise on a bi-annual basis the performance of tour Guides
- Coordinate and monitor on a daily basis the activities of Tour Guides
- Engage in continuous training and development for self through means offered by the company or other external professional bodies.
- Development and maintain the company's library to ensure a ready store of relevant research material on touring guiding services, attractions and other general tour guiding information.
- Develop and implement through market research and liaison with Marketing Manager new tour packages
- Customisation of Tours as requested by the companies local and overseas clients
- Assist in developing marketing sales and promotional information for the company
- Understand and interpret and communicate to Tour Guides information and curriculum requirements pertaining to all tours being offered
- Assist in marketing the companies tour products and services
- Report on a monthly basis to the board on Tour Guiding and Product Development activities
- From time-to-time perform role of Senior Tour Guide
- Carry out Training and Product Development work contracted to the company by other players in the industry

Product Development Manager
Duties:
- To research, develop and document tours including tour concepts, tour names, tour structure and scripts, tour routes and destinations, other
- To assist in developing and documenting internal policy and procedural guidelines as it relates to the company’s products and services and day-to-day operations.
- To assist with marketing and selling the company’s products and services
- To assist with assigned Administrative tasks such as receiving clients, typing letters and other business correspondence, filing, answering telephone calls, etc.
- To assist with the day-to-day operations such as the administration of transactions and to provide accounting support
Operations Manager
Duties:
- Being fully conversant with all the products and services offered by the company
- Supervising the diarising of all tour bookings (confirmed or unconfirmed) and confirming all tour assignments
- Supervising the transportation function including maintenance Manager, Drivers, Buses (parking, custodianship of keys), etc
- Assisting with the daily assignment of all tour guides
- Carrying accounting function for the company and acting as liaison with the Group Financial Controller to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Being familiar with tour routes to facilitate effective communication between Tour Guides and the company’s office
- Ensure through reporting and record keeping means that Tour Guides:
- Solicit and record the means of contact (cell/beeper) for of all drivers, guides and other key participants (for e.g. Teachers assisting in carrying out tour duties) especially if groups are split by transportation means.
- Prior to tour where specified meet with partcipants to introduce and outline in summary format the features and particulars of the tour
- Are on time for all tour assignments
- Make and record a head count of each participant prior to departure, beginning of the return leg and at each stop if necessary.
- Have available a list of emergency numbers for the route along which the tour is planned.
- Ensure driver (s) is properly informed of tour route
- Check to see that all equipment on bus is working properly before participants board transportation.
- File a written trip report at end of day for review by Training and Development Manager and record keeping
- Solicit and record feedback (including testimonials) on the tour from participants
- Ensure that any promised or requested follow-up information or activity is properly documented and delivered in good time
- Responsible for making and accurately capturing all the company’s payables and receivables.
- Supervising Operations Officer or Assistants carrying out accounting, cashiering, filing functions, etc.
- Assisting with the HRD function (Payroll, Leave, etc)
- Maintaining the Fixed Assets Register and ensuring the company's assets are adequately insured
- Supervising and recording the departure and return of all tours

Tour Guide Assistant
Duties:
- Provide on a contractual basis in a professional manner tour guiding services on behalf of the company to its local and overseas clientele
- Have relevant information on and be fully conversant with the particulars of Tours being offered by the company.
- Providing general assistance to the Senior Tour Guide and assist in carrying out certain Administrative tasks relevant to effectively carrying out tour guiding duties.
- Ensure that participants are kept in a relaxed, fun engaged mode
- Receive training and be able to give basic first aid in case of minor external injuries sustained by tour participants.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of the company’s library to ensure a ready store of relevant research material on touring guiding services, attractions, etc in Jamaica and other general tour guiding information.
- Assist with development and implementation of new tour packages
- Assist in developing marketing sales and promotional information for the company
- Engage in continuous training and development through means offered by the company or other external professional bodies.

Tour Guide
Duties:
- Provide in a professional, interactive and interpretive manner tour guiding services on behalf of the company to its local and overseas clientele
- Research relevant information on and be fully conversant with the particulars of Tours being offered by the company. This includes researching and knowing:
- Tour routes of exact location of final destination
- Features and particulars of attractions pertaining to each tour
- Research, clarify, interpret and attain a full grasp of specific information and curriculum requirements pertaining to all tours being conducted
- Assist with developing, reviewing and marketing the companies tour products and services
- Perform certain Administrative tasks relevant to effectively carrying out tour guiding duties:
- Solicit and record the means of contact (cell/beeper) for of all drivers, guides and other key participants (for e.g. Teachers assisting in carrying out tour duties) especially if groups are split by transportation means.
- Prior to tour where specified meet with partcipants to introduce and outline in summary format the features and particulars of the tour

- Solicit and record feedback (including testimonials) on the tour from participants
- Ensure that participants are kept in a relaxed, fun engaged mode
- Be gracious hosts on behalf of the company by thanking tour participants for their support and choice of service at departure and end of return leg.
- Ensure that any promised or requested follow-up information or activity is properly documented and delivered in good time
- Receive training and be able to give basic first aid in case of minor external injuries sustained by tour participants.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of the company's library to ensure a ready store of relevant research material on touring guiding services, attractions and other general tour guiding information.
